Battles of Lexington and Concord

The Battles of Lexington and Concord took place around mid April 1775 and were the first battles of the American Revolution. The battles were between the British and the Colonists, and the battle was started by a lone gunshot; now known as the "shot heard around the world". The Colonists ended up having the victory that day.
