I know you already have this info-but it's something to post! boston tea party many colonists came together, dressed as Indians to destroy 300,000 dollars worth of tea.
In Mid-April of 1775, the first official war battle took place between the Brits and the colonists in towns surrounding Boston, particularly Lexington and Concord. The minutemen (colonists) showed up at Lexington with a measly 70 soldiers. They British told them to retreat, being obviously outnumbered and all. As they retreated, a lone gunshot went off, now known as The Shot Heard Round The World. No one to this day knows who shot it. The British went onward to Concord, where 300 minutemen were ready to fight. They killed 73 redcoats and wounded 200.
The Townsheds act was a law passed in may of 1767, that taxed glass paper, lead, and tea. The colonists were unhappy about the taxes. The taxes were small.
In may 5, 1770 the colonists of Boston and new York had a conflict with the British and the troops shot and killed 5 colonists. One of the first to die was Samuel Mavericks.
In 1774, the British took action against the colonists because of the Boston Tea party. They passed/created 5 laws each of which was unfair. The acts were -Impartial Administration of Justice Act-allowed law officers to move court dates and make sure results of court hearings turned out their way -Massachusetts Bay Regulating Act-banned all town meetings that weren't approved by the royal govener -Boston Port Act-closed the Boston port(untill tea damage was repaid) moved the capitol to Salem and made Marblehead the official port -Quartering Act- allowed troops to stay in civilian houses and empty buildings -Quebec Act-granted freedom to Catholics in Quebec
The Proclamation of 1763 was an imaginary line drawn along the crest of the Appalachians. It's purpose was to organize Britain's North American empire and to establish Native American relations.
The Sons and Daughters of Liberty were like a secret club. it consisted of male and females young and old. They were American Patriots and big trouble makers. This secret club was alot like any outher secret club. It had codes, words and symbols. The son's of liberty would hang and burn the British along withtar and ffeathering them. The daughters of libertywould dicide the course of action and also boycott.
The Stamp Act of 1765 was an act issued by Britain mandating that the majority of printed materials carry a tax stamp on them, which you had to purchase.
The Sons and Daughters of Liberty were a secret group of rebels who complained and acted against British rule. They were the ones who dumped all the tea in the Boston Tea Party. But that's another story. ;)

The Townshend Acts were a series of acts that were resurrected to raise the revenue of the colonies in order to pay the salaries of judges and governors.
In 1774 a bunch of laws were passed to punish Boston for the tea party. There were four laws. T hey shut down the port, it stayed shut down until they paid for the tea. They would not let them have town meetings. They were charged with crimes. They had to house the red coats.
In Philadelphia, in September 1774 colonial leaders called a meeting known as the first continental congress had 12 colonies meet. they all had a agreement to boycott all British goods until the Intolerable acts. they also wanted to set up and train their military.

Boston Massacre, accured on March 5,1770. the "patriots" mob was throughing snowballs, stones, and sticks at the british soliers, many of the colonists were killed. A riot began and about 50 citizens attacted a British senitel. it lead to the revoltionary war.
Committees of Correspondence, a way to get new around faster. samuel adams expanded an idea of letter-writing compaign by forming it.in 3 months there were about 80 committees organized.

The Boston Massacre was a fight between the lobsterbacks and colonists that ended up killing 5 colonists. This fight led to some other quarries, which led to the War.
The First Continental Congress was a group of delegates from every colony except the Province of Georgia that got together in Philadelphia to compile a list of grievances that the British had imposed on them.
